Vader Mask the Sequel

The three older kids are part of a childhood activity study at Oregon State University in the Human Assessment Lab. This is the second year of the study and they really had a good time last year. They wear accelerometers, heart rate monitors, and "the Darth Vader mask" to measure their breathing. As they are being measured, they do activities that range from playing video games, to running and playing basketball. When I signed them up for the study, I thought that being part of a real college study would be a good experience. But as it turns out, they get paid too. I do think they enjoy the actual study itself, and get a kick out of the grad students they interact with, but they REALLY like the hundred bucks they get when it's all over. You will have to let us know when it is next year. My kids would love to participate - anything for money.
